What to Do If Someone Asks You to Leave the Platform
Short answer: Say no and stay inside the platform. Requests to move to another app, send money elsewhere or click outside links are a classic scam pattern.
Why it is a red flag
Platforms have moderation, payment protection and reporting tools. Moving to a private messenger or another site removes all of that, which is exactly why scammers ask for it.
Typical lines you may see
Offers of "better prices", "free access" or "a private link", or claims that the platform is about to ban the chat. Treat all of these as warnings, not opportunities.
What to do
Do not click links, do not send money or gift cards and do not share contact details. Block the user and report the message to the platform.
